ABOUT ME

My name is Christina Kitsou and I am an artistic libra as well as passionate about every art form. My undergraduate studies were in History of Art in Athens School of Fine Arts and now I am persuing a masters degree in Strategic Communication and Public Relations at Deree. I believe that art is the most expressive form of communication. It's a way to express your feelings and share your thoughts and ideas. In our daily lives we observe people communicating with words, messages, gestures but communication can also be achieved through paintings, colors and its smells, videos, photos, music, dance and many more. All the above comprise types of art and as a result ways of communication. Art is the most direct and vivid way to convey your message.

Art beyond the walls is a blog that does not follow the traditional paths of art. We have used to physically visit museum, various exhibitions and events however, the world of art has moved a step further as museums are not just buildings consisting of walls and halls but concepts that transcend the physicallity hence, can be experienced digitaly. It's a fact, now you have the chance to visit museums and galleries from your home and participate through your laptop or mobile phone in digital campaigns and online projects about art and get informed about international art news and events with just a click. The aim of this blog is to expand your horizons and make you think outside of the box and imagine art in a location much more familiar and unique than the conventional museums which limit the creativity and deprive us of a holistic experience.
